ClipCockpit is a Chrome extension that overlays on higgsfield.ai and shows you your credit balance, the cost of your next generation, and your usage. This policy explains exactly what the extension does with data.
Summary
ClipCockpit collects no personal data, creates no account, and sends nothing to any server. Everything happens locally in your browser.
What the extension reads
While you use higgsfield.ai, ClipCockpit reads data that the Higgsfield website itself already loads in your browser:
- Your credit balance and total credits.
- Your generation list and its metadata (model, cost, date, status, prompt, duration).
- The model cost information Higgsfield publishes.
- A few values shown in the page, such as the selected model, resolution, and duration.
This reading happens in your browser only, to display the information back to you. ClipCockpit does not initiate any network request and never performs any action that spends your credits.
What the extension stores
ClipCockpit stores two small items locally using the browser storage API (chrome.storage.local), on your device only:
- The position of the cockpit panel, so it stays where you put it.
- Your last known credit balance, so the panel can still show a value if the page fails to load.
No generation content, prompts, or media are stored.
What the extension sends
Nothing. ClipCockpit has no backend, makes no external network calls, and transmits no data to us or to any third party. There are no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising.
Permissions
ClipCockpit requests only the storage permission, used for the two local items above. It runs solely on higgsfield.ai pages.
Data sharing and sale
ClipCockpit does not share or sell any data, because it does not collect or transmit any.
Changes
If a future version changes what data is handled (for example an optional paid feature with cloud sync), this policy will be updated and any such feature will be clearly opt in.
